The Project
Magnavale’s investment plans for their Holmewood cold storage facility in Chesterfield to extend the capacity and to meet growing demand. After acquiring the site in 2019, planning consent was granted in August 2021. As we progress now to the construction phase we have set up a dedicated website (www.holmewoodchesterfieldplans.co.uk) providing the public with accurate and up to date information on the development and details of how to get in touch with our community engagement officer.
The website includes plans and Computer Generated Images (CGIs) of how the development will look in a few years, following the construction phase, which includes extensive planting and landscaping.
The construction phase is due to be completed by November 2023.
