The Project
OVI Homes has proposed developing the former Crown Works site in Longton, Stoke on Trent, which is an 0.85-acre ex-industrial land and has been derelict with anti-social behaviour and fire damage. The site is located within 8 minutes' walk of the Longton Rail Station and Town Centre and OVI Homes aims to deliver a sustainable high-quality development of 62 retirement homes, 31 car parking spaces, cycle storage, and attractive communal gardens. The plans, designed by award-winning architectural practice Lewis and Hickey, will transform the derelict site and consider the surrounding architecture and the site's heritage as a former pottery factory belonging to the Tams Group.
