Wakefield city centre has seen a lot of change over the past 20 years. The Wakefield city centre masterplan is being led by internationally recognised architectural practice, Farrells and explores which are the next areas to evolve in the city and what people want from their city centre.
The vision for Wakefield city centre is to provide a balanced mixed offer and a people-focused environment where work, live, create and enjoy, experience and access are interlinked to enable a distinctive and vibrant environment.
